Transpersonal Art Therapy & Counselling
I have been creative for as long as I can remember. Being sent to my room never felt like a punishment—I was perfectly happy spending hours drawing cartoon characters. As a young artist, I was a perfectionist. That changed when I accidentally splashed blue watercolour onto a drawing of flowers. The accident taught me to let go, and I haven’t looked back.
Over the years, I have attended numerous workshops to develop my skills and explore my artistic style—something that continues to evolve. I’m happiest when inspiration strikes and an idea simply cannot be ignored.
My artistic journey has included awards, group exhibitions and a solo exhibition celebrating my 40th birthday. A significant highlight was winning the Digital Section of the 2016 41st Rio Tinto Martin Hanson Memorial Art Awards with “Battlefield Known Enemy.” The work reflected my experience of leaving a domestic violence relationship and marked an important turning point in my personal life and creative practice.
From there, I began using art therapeutically and supporting patients in the mental health sector to express themselves through creativity. I now love sharing my artistic knowledge and encouraging people of all experience levels to discover what art can offer them.
I am offering small art classes because you are important enough to have my full attention and experience.
